GENERAL REGULATION
Art. 1
The Ente Mostra dell'Artigianato Artistico Abruzzese organizes the "The world's best ceramic fountains",
to be held in Guardiagrele -Chieti- ITALY from 9th to 12th August 2012, aimed at creating wall fountains
having the following dimensions: Shield Height min. Cm. 75-76 max Cm. 90- 95 - Width min.
Cm. 44-46 max.Cm. 55 with a bowl.
The fountains created shall be included in the urban design of the Municipality of Guardiagrele, of other
Municipalities in Abruzzo and of public/private Bodies cooperating with the above mentioned Ente.
Art. 2
To be allowed to take part into the event, masters-artists shall submit the application form to the
organizing body no later than 15 April 2012.
The application form must include a profession CV and max. no. 3 (three) drawings or pictures of the
sketches of the fountain that the master intends to create.
Attending the international meeting on Ceramics means you perfectly know and completely accept the
rules included in this regulation.
Art. 3
The application form shall get to the address of the secretariat of the Ente Mostra as marked in the
participation sheet, through the specific module attached, which is an integral part of the regulation, and
must be filled in in any fields. The application form does not grant the right to be admitted to participate in
any way. The participating masters-artists shall have the possibility to exhibit and sell in a stand made
available by the Ente some meaningfull pieces of their artistic production.
Please inform the Secretariat of the Ente in case you have any specific need.
Art. 4
The organizing body shall notify the acceptance of the application within 15 May 2012.
It shall be valid only for the master-artist whom it is headed to.
Art. 5
The master-artist who proves he cannot attend the meeting shall inform by writing the Secretariat 30 days
before the opening day of the event.

Art. 6
The stands shall be set up according to the methods and the dispositions communicated by the
organization. Tables and supports shall be made available.
A suitable vigilance and custody is granted to the works during every day of preparation and contest.
To dismantle the stands the Exhibitors shall comply with the dispositions by the organization. The
dismantling will occur at the end of the awarding.
Art.7
Schedule of the event:
Wednesday 8th August: from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. set up of the stands, 6.30 p.m. greetings of the authorities;
Thursday 9th August: fountains creation;
Friday 10th August: fountains creation;
Saturday 11th August: fountains creation;
Sunday 12th August: fountains creation, 6.00 p.m. Closing ceremony of the event.
Art. 8
The material and colors needed to create the fountains shall be supplied by the Ente.
The masters-artists shall bring small tolls to shape their work and brushes to paint it.
Art. 9
The participating masters-artists shall be hosted by the Ente and shall receive a two-ways flight ticket.
The masters-artists arriving with their own car shall be granted a reimboursement amounting at Euros
400,00 (four hundred) for travel costs.
Art. 10
The projects shall be evaluated by a jury specifically established. The judgment on the admission shall be
unquestionable. The Ente has appointed M° Giuseppe Liberati as the technical’artistic director in charge.
Art. 11
In case of force majeure, independent from the will of the organization, the very organization can modify
program, the calendar, the schedules of the contest, or, if necessary, to annul the contest itself.
